Several people have asked me about my “Political Views” description on my FaceBook account...it says “Defiantly Conservative”, and inquiring minds want to know what its all about.
The truth is that I stole that description from Karl Rove after hearing him say it during a radio interview. I have no idea where Rove came up with it, but defiantly conservative summed up my political views in such a short and sweet way that I couldn't resist using it.
To me, being defiantly conservative means that I won't waver on my political views and personal values, nor will I be pressured into becoming something I'm not, or say something I really don't mean in order to curry favor from family, friends, neighbors or dirt-bag politicians.
It means that I don't blindly give my respect to, or automatically entrust my life or liberty to anyone based on the outcome of a political contest...and I give a shit NOT whether you are a city dogcatcher or a world leader... either way, you are just another drop in the bucket of political puke that this country has been spewing since 1913.
It means that I have an unbridled hatred for the political hacks that are Hell bent on doing what they think is best for me, my family, and my money. They dish out their tyrannical dictates without any thought whatsoever to how their whims will effect the citizenry-at-large, and then pat themselves on the back every time they successfully chip another little chunk off the cornerstone of America's foundation...The Constitution of the United States of America.
And lastly, it means that I am willing to sacrifice my freedom or my life in order to preserve liberty for my children, and I do not, will not, and can not discriminate against enemies foreign or domestic. DON'T TREAD ON ME!
